As an IBM employee, you are covered by the IBM Group Life Assurance Plan.
In the event of the death of a current employee in job bands 1-10, a payment equivalent to two, three or four times a member's Pre You* salary is paid tax-free to the beneficiary / beneficiaries.
If you undergo a recognised Life Event you may be able to elect to change your level of Group Life Assurance cover (applies to employees in job Bands 1 to 10 only).
